Men’s Match Play All matches will be contested as Net Fourball Matches and the competition will be single-elimination. All players will play their own ball and the team whose member had the lowest net score wins the hole. We will use the handicaps from the first and the fifteenth of each month depending on when you schedule your match. Each player will receive 90% of their course handicap per USGA recommendations for fourball match play. All play will be from the White tees. Those 65 & over will be allowed to move up to the White/Blue combo tees using their handicap from that tee set should they choose. The deadline for the first round of matches will be Sunday, June 7th. Deadline dates will not be extended so please make sure you get your matches done in a timely fashion.
Ladies’ Match Play All matches will be contested as Net Fourball Matches. All players will play their own ball and the team whose member had the lowest net score wins the hole. Handicaps will be used from the first and fifteenth of every month and players will receive 90% of their course handicap per USGA recommendations for fourball match play. All play will be from the Gold tees. The Ladies’ Division features three pods of six teams. Within your pod you must play one 9-hole match against each team (5 matches) by August 16th. 1 point is awarded for each hole won, ½ point is awarded for each hole tied, and 0 points are awarded for each hole lost. There is a total of 9 points available for every match and the team with the most points at the end will win their respective pod. The three pod winners, along with one wild card team, will be seeded and play a semifinal and final match to determine a champion. The wild card team will be the team with the most points who did not win their pod.
Couples Match Play All matches will be contested as Net Fourball Matches. All players will play their own ball and the team whose member had the lowest net score wins the hole. Handicaps will be used from the first and fifteenth of every month depending on when your match is scheduled. Each player receives 90% of their course handicap per USGA recommendations for fourball match play. The men will play from the White tees and the Women will play from the Gold tees. Men aged 65 & over may play from the White/Blue combo tees using their handicap from that tee set if they choose. All losers from the first round will enter a consolation bracket where they will be reseeded and playing for a consolation championship. This guarantees that each entrant will play 2 matches. All matches in this division will be 9 holes in length.
